Help shape the future of feminist publishing in Canada!
Inanna Publications is a nonprofit publisher and a registered charity that provides a space for women’s voices, many of whom are still underserved in the publishing industry. Since 1983 we have been one of Canada’s leading independent presses. Our aim is to conserve a publishing space dedicated to feminist voices that provoke discussion, advance feminist thought, and speak to the widely and wildly various lives of women. Our goal is to publish fresh literary books by Canadian writers that are intellectually rigorous, speak to women’s hearts, and tell truths about the lives of a broad diversity of Canadian women—smart books for people who want to read and think about women’s lives. Our vision is to be one of the leading feminist publishers of diverse women’s voices.
Our books—both by well-known feminist authors and emerging writers—offer new, innovative perspectives on a wide variety of women’s issues—perspectives that have the potential not just to educate or entertain, but to excite and motivate readers’ passion for social change.
Inanna Publications is excited to share an opportunity to help shape the vision for Inanna’s future.
Our Board of Directors is seeking qualified candidates to contribute to the high-level strategic direction of Inanna Publications.
